Is Weebly really Free Web Hosting?

I actually first heard about Weebly through an article on TIME’s website when it was named one of TIME’s 50 Best Websites of the year in 2007. I quickly checked Weebly out. I must admit, the website is very impressive with its offerings. I signed up an account and tried it out immediately! True enough, the service is completely FREE.

You can opt to buy a pro account upgrade for a small fee, or purchase your own domain, but for 99% of us, the free package is more than enough as it’s 100% feature packed!

Registration is fast and easy. Just visit their website and you will see a big registration form on the main page that contains 3 fields only – Username, Password and Email. Just fill out these easy fields and your account will be activated instantly. Right after registration you can start building your new website with the user friendly site builder.
